“Ridna Mova” has initiated creation in Melbourne, Australia, youth
drama group “Dyvotsvit” which
presents in the theatrical performances national folklore, wedding
rituals, dancing and entertainment. The first performance of “Dyvotsvit” was enthusiastically received in Melbourne on 17.7.04

THE ASSOCIATION This Appeal is being broadcast daily by Kyiv Radio to Ukraine and Diaspora AN HISTORICAL EVENT THAT TOOK PLACE IN UKRAINE ON 26.12.2004 REQUIRES URGENT ACTION FOR THE PRESERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE. THE WORK OF "RIDNA MOVA" DURING PREVIOUS YEARS HAS MODESTLY HELPED THE ELECTIONS OF 26.12.2004 TO TAKE PLACE. "RIDNA MOVA" HAS ALREADY RENOVATED AND PUBLISHED SEVERAL COLOURED READERS AND POSTED FREE OF CHARGE TO UKRAINE, RUSSIAN FEDERATION AND THE NEAR DIASPORA THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF UKRAINIAN READERS AND DICTIONARIES FOR THE CHILDREN AND YOUTH FOR WHOM UKRAINIAN IS THE SECOND LANGUAGE. THEIR TEACHERS ARE ASKING FOR MORE AND MORE OF OUR READERS and DICTIONARIES. IN THESE REGIONS OUR PUBLICATIONS MUST BE SUPPLIED FREE OF CHARGE. 59 BOOKORDERS FROM THE DIRECTORS OF SCHOOLS ARE ATTACHED. BUT WE HAVE NO FUNDS TO DO IT ANY LONGER. THEREFORE IMMEDIATE FINANCIAL HELP TO "RIDNA MOVA" IS URGENTLY REQUIRED TO SUPPLY TO RUSSIFIES REGIONS TENS OF THOUSANDS OF THE REQUIRED READERS AND DICTIONARIES.

Mova has now become a dealer in handheld electronic dictionaries. 15.4.2004 GIVE YOUR SUPPORT TO RIDNA MOVA 14.11.2003 UKRAINIANS OF THE WORLD! We ask you to give financial support to “RIDNA MOVA” – for several decades a non-profit publisher and supplier of Ukrainian Sunday School Readers and Dictionaries by Maria Dejko for Ukrainian youth of Diaspora, Russian Federation and Eastern Ukraine for whom Ukrainian is the second language. “RIDNA MOVA” has posted free of charge thousands of books to these regions where often books published during Soviet times are used and where thousands and thousands of our books are required. These School Readers are compiled using a special method of gradually increasing the very limited Ukrainian vocabulary of Ukrainian youth in these regions and bringing the vocabulary of the pupils to some 3000 words at the end of the School course. The workers at “Rydna Mova” include not only Ukrainians from Diaspora but also three persons with University education from Kyiv, Ukraine.“RIDNA MOVA” is in need of help to reprint the renovated color illustrated School Readers and to publish the updated DICTIONARY. These books will then be supplied free of charge to regions where democratic tradition is lacking and where Ukrainian is in danger of being destroyed by the influence of the Russian language. Persons wishing to give financial support to this important project aimed at educating Ukrainian youth in democratic values and at SAVING UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE IN UKRAINIAN YOUTH are asked to contact the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organizations (AFUO) or Ridna Mova Publishing.
